There are now clear examples for people to look up to and learn from. It is a large step towards a feeling of inclusion and belonging. Diverse leadership teams are more likely to have diverse and inclusive cultures and therefore no surprise that along with a great business model investors are keen to buy-in.
All the data from McKinsey, Deloitte, and PwC amongst others shows that more diverse teams are more profitable and outperform their competitors. So why wouldn't you want to invest?
