Who would have thought just a few years ago, one would go on holiday and let their most prized possession, their HOME out to a complete stranger?? Digital definitely in disruptive mode!
Yet it has made holidays and second homes more affordable to the masses! They won't stop there, they are offering new experiences to their portfolio of services: specialized tours, armchair inspiration with a new app, and packaging whole "trips" - who will partner with them to fly us there I wonder?
You have got to hand it to them.. they are not resting on their laurels and continuing to change, evolve and innovate this space. What's next I wonder?

In November, CEO Brian Chesky introduced Experiences, local adventures that extend Airbnb’s host-based hospitality into tours and multiday itineraries. The service creates a potentially lucrative revenue stream and marks the next hop in Airbnb’s journey to reimagine travel.
