Netflix has gone from strength to strength since it launched and it looks set to continue blazing its market leading trail! I personally don't know a single household among my friends, family and colleagues that don't have access to a Netflix account. The simple truth is that Netflix have cracked it - providing something that people want that no-one else has. Netflix has created the 'golden age of content' and they are the Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers of this golden era.

They've created partnerships with some of the best and well-known film companies (Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Lionsgate to name a few) and brought us some of the best TV shows of the last 15 years, an excellent mix of gritty hard hitting drama through to hilarious, light-hearted comedy. 

So what does this mean for the digital marketing landscape? In the last couple of years, we have seen a real surge in the number of content- led marketing roles. An ever increasing number of businesses are recognising that exclusive content, thought leadership pieces and in- depth market knowledge is a super easy - and comparatively cheap - way to grow brand awareness and ultimately increase revenue.
