Last week my wifes iPhone6 dies the day before we were going away. On route to the airport we made an appointment at the Apple store to be told it needed a replacement battery which could be sorted the next day. No good in our circumstances. It was also an iPhone6 so in holiday mode we splashed out on a new phone and bought AirPods.

Less than 2 weeks later they release new AirPods. Don't Apple communicate with their staff? Don't they tell them new products are being released or do they just enjoy the arrogance of annoying their customers?

How does a truly great company get such simple things wrong? 

It's not their brilliant designers, it's not their amazing engineers, it has to be their marketers. The very people who should be safeguarding the brand are undermining it. Maybe time for a change to more connected talent
