We are long used to tech giants "getting their way". Facebook and Cambridge Analytica "seem" to be investigated on their use of data in US elections; many people are uncomfortable with their data just being a "product" for the big guys. Here in the UK we are seeing GDPR force a huge hand in regulation and protection of our data; in this article, tech can be a force for good, although by its nature built to disrupt and challenge which amplifies that increasingly the nature and imposition of regulation will be critical in this high growth sector.

Continued good news: the UK is set to continue to grow. Out of 53 European billion dollar tech companies, 22 are British. Revolution continues for UK-based businesses, and the huge creation of new jobs and opportunities in the tech sector is exciting to say the least.
