Robots have been threatening to replace us all for years now, but when shall these futuristic machines rise up and do our daily chores for us? Or take over our Jobs?
Oxford University researchers have estimated that 47% of Jobs in the United States could be automated within the next two decades. They predict jobs such as accountants and even doctors to be taken over by machines.
The definition of a Robot is one of great confusion, usually any automated machine which has been programmed to carry out task usually performed by a human is called a robot, when others believe it to be a cyber man type creation holding your slippers and gin in tonic as you arrive home.
But what shall happen to the recruitment industry if these machines infiltrate the job market? shall there be recruitment companies placing robots in their dream jobs? We shall have to wait and see.
