I am not a US citizen so it is not really my place to say. However I do live in the free world so whatever the US decides affects me to. Let's face it if a professional recruiter was drawing up a Presidential candidate shortlist it's highly doubtful that either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton would have made the shortlist. On the face of it they have met the broad description of the brief but under the intense scrutiny of a professional recruitment interview where spin is probed to death, they would have quickly faltered. Candidates are rejected for not listening to or answering the question. Why doesn't an electorate take the same view? If a recruiter was handling this these two would have been rejected and the recruiter would have generated a quality shortlist for consideration instead. Just a thought!
