So twitter can't sell ads. Facebook do $1b a quarter and twitter isn't at the races. So why do people show an interest? Because while twitter can't sell ads they are data rich. They can show exceptional insight into how people respond to events, products, brands, celebrities in fact anything. Maybe when the price gets low enough WPP will make a move
