Apple's new iPhone 7 launch has already divided opinion on the discontinuation of the traditional headphone port. Wired earbuds are still available, but the innovative option of wireless earbuds called AirPods has already raised complaints.
Some people will applaud the innovation, but questions of practicality appear rather obvious:
£159 is a lot to splash on headphones that can easily be lost;
They may 'pop out' whilst exercising;
5 hours battery life seems rather paltry;
A genuine risk small children could choke on them.
Have Apple's R&D team come up with just another expensive accessory?
But people on Twitter have noticed a few potential flaws with the AirPods. They use Apple's classic earpiece design that can cause the earbuds to falls out of people's ears, especially during exercise.
