When CoSchedule compiled data from several high profile email studies to determine “when is the best time to send an email” question, this is what they discovered: Tuesday: Hands down best day to send emails Thursday: If you send two emails a week, choose Thursday for your second day. Wednesday: No single study showed that Wednesday was most popular, it came second place several times. 10am: Late-morning send times were the most popular, several concluded the best time to send emails is 10/11am 8pm – Midnight: Research shows, emails generally receive more opens/clicks in the evening. Likely due to people checking email before going to bed. 2pm: You might be successful sending emails later in the day as people are checking out of work mode/looking for distractions. 6am: 50% of Americans begin their day emailing in bed!
